Makes approximately 8 burgers, 20 sliders or 35-40 meatballs

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 lb. ground lamb
1/2 medium onion, minced
4 -5 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons dill
2 teaspoons oregano
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon cumin
2 teaspoons coriander
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon all spice
Salt and pepper, to taste

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.  Form into your preferred shape; burgers, meatballs, patties, etc.  
  2. Refrigerate for at least two hours for the flavors to intensify. With so many spices, you really need the time to allow them all to mingle with one another.  
  3. To cook, you can easily grill, broil or pan-sear for about 3-4 minutes per side.  Best served with a hearty Greek-style salad composed of lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, lemon juice and dill.
