Demystifying Detox

Toxins are small, chemical compounds that interfere with the workings of our bodies.

If toxin levels build up, they can drastically affect our health. The internal buildup of these toxins can cause a range of symptoms from headaches to bloating.


The best way to avoid toxins is by cleansing your body and environment. Detoxing can be mentally and physically challenging but the Betr team is here to help.


During the first few days of your program, you may experience symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, fatigue, lightheadedness, or moodiness.

These symptoms vary for everyone and are dependent on the type of foods consumed before the program.

4 Ways to Fight Detox Fatigue

  1. Hydration

  2. Rest

  3. Light movement

  4. Listen to your body and treat the symptoms. If you are tired, rest.


Once excess carbohydrates, sugar, and processed foods are eliminated, you will likely begin to feel your body responding to the program.
You'll have more energy, better sleep, reduced cravings, moodiness, and anxiety.
