Now that you are in Level 2, you've probably noticed major differences between Betr and "diet" programs.

At Betr, we do not weigh food or count calories or macros.

Ultimately, once you've reset your microbiome in Level 1 and identified your "trigger foods" in Level 2, there's NOTHING off limits!

Betr helps you rediscover the power of healthy food.

Once we get rid of inflammation, digestive upset, and chronic disease, we can learn to listen to our body and feed it in a healthy way without depriving it.

Your body knows what it needs to feel full and satisfied!

Listening in Level 2

Level 2 is building on the concepts you've learned in Level 1, concepts like:

  • Your body knows what it needs and when it needs it

  • Your body knows when it's full

  • Food isn’t “good” or “bad”

  • Focusing on how you feel, not just the number on the scale

You have become aware of the foods and ingredients that do not provide you with satisfaction and energy and may even cause unwanted side effects.

A Betr Way to Listen

Much of what you practice in Level 1 and Level 2 is the concept of intuitive eating and mindful eating.

Intuitive eating emphasizes tuning in and honoring your body's natural hunger and satisfaction cues. Mindful eating involves being present and fully engaged in the eating experience, leading to greater meal satisfaction.

Some benefits of this eating approach include:

  • Improved Physical Health: Some research indicates that intuitive eating may be associated with positive health outcomes, including lower blood pressure, improved cholesterol levels, and better blood sugar control.

  • Enhanced Psychological Well-being: It is associated with improved mental health, including reduced anxiety, depression, and stress related to food and body image.

  • Increased Physical Activity: Intuitive eating promotes exercise for enjoyment and health rather than to burn calories or lose weight.

  • Sustainable Eating Habits: It promotes sustainable and long-term healthy eating habits, as it's based on listening to your body's needs rather than following strict diet rules.

Betr embraces the principle of eating when you are hungry and stopping when you are full, while also being wholly present to enjoy and savor your meal.
