BRAZILIAN FISH STEW

Ingredients

FISH & MARINADE

1 Fillet of white fish, such as halibut or mahi mahi (Halibut is less dry)

3 Cloves Garlic

5 Limes

1 Box of Veggie or Fish Stock

VEGGIES:

1 Sliced Sweet Onion

1 Sliced Bell Pepper

2 Cups Sliced Tomatoes

SPICES:

2 Tbsp Paprika

1 Tbsp Red Pepper Flakes

Pinch of Salt & Pepper

Cilantro for Garnish

Adaptation for Energy Lifting, Level 2 & 3:

1 Can of Coconut Milk

Directions

Serves 1 - just add another filet of fish to double recipe

  1. coat the fish in lime and garlic and let it sit for at least an hour. 

  2. When you are ready to make the soup, toss everything (except coconut milk) in a pot. Simmer for 15-20 minutes over a medium low heat. Or, if you're busy, toss in a Crock-Pot on low for 3 - 4 hours.

  3. Garnish with cilantro and more lime. If you're doing coconut milk, stir that in and simmer for 5 minutes.
