The cellular scale has an easy no hassle setup process!

Welcome to our help center for the weight tracking scale. This article will give you a step-by-step guide for using the scale to track your weight.

First, open up the box that came with the scale. You should see the scale, as well as a step-by-step guide. Pull out the tab attached to the underside of the scale.

Next, step on the scale — you should see it automatically link up to your app and log your weight. Every time you use the scale thereafter, it should automatically link up to your app and log your weight.

That's all there is to it! If you have any questions or need additional tips, feel free to reach out and submit a help request.

IMPORTANT NOTES ON WITHINGS BODY PRO SCALE:

TROUBLESHOOTING:

  1. The “display doesn’t turn on”

    • Confirm that the tab underneath the scale has been removed.

    • If the tab has been removed and the screen still does not turn on, please check if the batteries are correctly installed.

    • You may also try to replace the 4 AAA batteries with 4 new AAA batteries.

    • If the display still does not turn on, please contact Withings Support so they can begin to investigate.

  2. Report an “inaccurate weight measurement”

    • Please:

      • Remove the batteries for 60 seconds and reinsert them

      • Place the scale on a hard surface

      • Wait 10 seconds

      • Weigh-in

    • If the issue persists, please weigh an object of known weight (at least 15 pounds or 7kg)

    • If the weight is still inaccurate, please contact the Withings Support team for investigation.

  3. Error "402” message

    • This error message is intended for the partner. Error 402 means that there is no account associated with the device. This might be due to an association issue via the API.

    • Please reach out to "Ask Us" so one of our team members can remedy this error for you!

  4. “Error 403” message

    • Please contact Withings Support if you are receiving this error message on your scale.

  5. “Error 407” message

    • Please take a measurement again.

    • If the installation was not successful, please try changing the location of the scale by moving it close to a window or on a higher floor if you reside in a multi-level home. This may help to have a better connection so the scale can upload the measurements.

    • If the installation is still not successful, please contact Withings Support.

  6. “Error 404” message

    • Please follow the same steps as "error 407" above.

  7. “Error 401” message

    • This means the Body Pro was not able to upload the previous measurements and is having issues connecting to a network. This could be due to a temporary regional network outage. Please keep weighing in as usual (the measurements will be stored and transmitted when the network is resolved.)

    • If “Error 401” is still displayed after 3 days, please try changing the location of the scale by moving it to a window or on a higher floor if the you reside in a multi-level home. This may help have a better connection so the scale can connect.
