Water is essential to proper weight loss and the removal of toxins from the body. Often when we think we are hungry we are actually just thirsty. Water will also help prevent potential constipation. You should drink half your body weight in ounces of water daily (90 oz. maximum). Do not wait until you are thirsty. By then, your body is already becoming dehydrated. Water is a daily nutrient that you need whether you are on the plan or not. Three strategic times to drink 16 oz. of water during Level 1 is: first thing in the morning, after weighing in, to help flush toxins; and with your two fruit snacks and supplements to create soluble fiber to help with fat and toxin removal.
