Healthy Eating On the Go - Making Life Easier

Eating healthy while traveling or in your busy day-to-day life doesn’t have to be complicated. Here are some quick and easy ideas to get you started that are easy to carry and stay fresh in an insulated lunch bag.

1- Hemp Seeds

Hemp seeds are a great source of protein and are easy to carry. Try eating 2-3 TBS raw, sprinkling them over a salad, or even dipping fruits like oranges or apples in them.

2-Chia Seeds

Chia Seeds (2-3 TBS) can be added to your dressing and then poured over a salad, or you can drink them in water with fresh lemon or Lyte Up. An excellent source of protein and fiber.

3- Hard Boiled Egg Whites

Hot hard-boiled egg whites are packed with protein (3 is a full protein) and make a perfect companion for sliced apples. Try rolling in cracked black pepper for added flavor.

4- Easy To Pack Foods

Grab a bag of frozen raw shelled edamame - they will keep other foods cold as they thaw - as well as cucumbers, peppers, cherry tomatoes, celery, and fennel which are all packed with fiber to help keep you feeling full.

5- Spice Up Your Bag

Put some cracked black pepper and Himalayan sea salt in individual pill bags so you can take your favorite spices with you on the go.
